I’ve decided to start a new series of Las Vegas themed art. Las Vegas has been my adopted home since moving from Oakland, CA to Las Vegas, NV in 2012. I would like to express my experience living in a city that has an interesting and unique history in the 1900s and how this city is on the rise in the 2000s.

I went up for a short hike at Mt Charleston which is about 45 min drive from Las Vegas. It is always great to get out into the fresh air and nature. It really is a great source of artistic inspiration.

I had the pleasure of meeting an artist named Mandy Joy at her gallery Obsidian Fine Art inside the Arts Factory in Las Vegas, NV. She is creating some really amazing and meaningful art. In the interview we cover how she got into art, her current projects and future plans.

I just took a trip down to Sedona, AZ to run a marathon. The weather was amazing and the natural beauty here is abundant. My weekend in Arizona was very inspiring and the energy acquired on this trip will no doubt show up in my paintings.
